Air Fryer or Grilled Jamaican Jerk Chicken

Spring is in the air, which means we are getting away from chili and seeking opportunities to grill. My Jamaican blend is very grill-friendly seasoning and pairs well with bright and fresh flavors like coconut rice or pineapple salsa. Keep in mind, this spice blend packs some heat! So feel free to adjust the amount down if your family doesn't enjoy spicy foods.

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine lime juice, soy sauce, salt, Jamaican spice blend, and olive oil in a bowl. Add chicken thighs to marinade for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.

  2. Preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees F. Air fry in two batches for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  3. Preheat the grill to a medium high heat. Add the chicken to the grill and close the lid. Let sit for about 3-4 minutes per side or until the chicken reaches and internal temperature of 165 degrees F. Slice into strips and serve with coconut rice, potatoes, pineapple black bean salsa or grilled veggies. Enjoy!
